What it does
LanaB's Hemp Seed Facial Oil is nature's perfect moisturiser for the skin. Fatty acids occur  naturally in the skin and are helpful in the protection against oxidative damage. Excellent on all skin types but particularly effective on sensitive, burnt, dry or damaged skin. Hemp seed oil has been shown to be effective in treating eczema and psoriasis.
Youthful, properly functioning, skin contains ceramides, but with age the level of ceramides decreases and the polyunsaturated fatty acids that make the ceramides flexible are replaced by less saturated fatty acids. This action, combined with a slower metabolism of the skin, aids in wrinkle formation and skin ageing. The use of our hemp seed facial oil has an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin and also compensates for lower ceramide levels, thereby reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
Our Hemp Seed Facial Oil is anti-inflammatory, anti-ageing, balances dry skin, helps heal skin lesions and contains antioxidants. The oil is non-greasy, readily absorbs deeply into the skin and has rejuvenating and moisturising properties and this makes it exceptionally beneficial for the skin.
Hemp Oil is an unsaurated oil rich in essential fatty acids and a perfect balance of omega 3, 6 and 9. It is readily absorbed and non-greasy and protects and repairs the  skin. Hemp oil contains 50 - 60 % linoleic and 19% linolenic acids, as well as antioxidants in the form of vitamin E and carotene. Also present are phytosterols, phospholipids, as well as a number of minerals, including calcium, magnesium, sulfur, potassium and phosphorus.
Evening Primrose Oil is an ideal moisturiser for around the eyes and for fine facial lines. It is a rich source of gamma-linolenic acid and is good for maintaining skin elasticity. It is recommended for dry and devitalized skin. Evening Primrose oil moisturises, nourishes and has restructuring properties due to its high content in unsaturated fatty acids.

How to use it
For face:
After cleansing, apply 3-4 drops of Hemp Seed Facial Oil to the face and throat every morning and night. Can be used safely around the eye are to diminish fine lines. Massage gently and thoroughly until completely absorbed. Use alone or follow with a sunscreen as desired. If you have used too much then simply blot with a clean towel to remove excess oil. Can be used under makeup and sunscreen. |
